Sackville Observatory Visit

As part of our Space topic in year 5/6 we went to Sackville School to learn about the craters in the moon and to visit their very own observatory.  Here's what we thought:

"Looking inside the observatory was so cool and looking
through the massive telescope was amazing!"
Andrew Burns Class 11

"Seeing the roof spin was cool and I loved seeing the sky
Holly Atkinson Class 10

"I liked doing the experiment and getting covered in flour!
I learnt the bigger the object the bigger the crater."
Lucy Kolter Class 10

"The teacher was really interesting while the roof moving
made us feel like we were spinning. We'd go again!"
Elliott Vincent Class 11 and Ben Hayes Class 10
