Crawley Down Village C of E School aspires to be a learning community where love and respect are at the heart of all we do. We aim to be a school that lives life in all its fullness; encouraging and supporting each other to be the
best we can be.

Through our distinctive Christian character we promote Christian Values. Each value and is integral to school life.
Courage, Creativity, Peace, Trust, Forgiveness, Justice, Thankfulness, Compassion, Friendship, Hope, Truthfulness/Honesty, Humility, Generosity, Respect and Reverence, Wisdom, Perseverance, Service and Responsibility.
Core Values
Every adult and child within the school community is valued equally at Crawley Down Village C of E School. We have agreed five core values that we promote through all the work we do.

Demonstration of these values is recognised daily through our house system and through weekly and termly celebrations.
British Values
Crawley Down Village C of E School believes in promoting British Values, which are:

• Individual liberty
We see our role as encouraging, promoting and embedding British Values. This means we challenge any extremism, views or opinions held by pupils, staff, parents and governors, which are contrary to fundamental British Values.
